How to measure for roller blinds

There are 2 options for mounting your blinds:
1. Recess (inside the frame) and
2. Face mounted (outside).

Recess mounted (inside window frame)

Measure the insides of the window frame - We need these measurements in full.

  1. Full width of window frame (inside of frame).
  2. Full height of window frame (inside top of frame, and down to inside bottom (window sill)

Remember to write the measurements down, then re-measure to double check.

There will always be a small gap between the mounting brackets and the fabric (refer to image Pic. 7 (above).

Note: There will always be a small amount of light entering between the window frame/wall, even with a blackout lining.

Face mounted

Measure the very outsides of the window frame - We need these measurements in full.

  1. Full width of window frame (outside of frame).
  2. Full height of window frame. If frame has ornate window sill then measure to top of sill

Remember to write the measurements down, then re-measure to double check.

There will always be a small gap between the mounting brackets and the fabric (refer to Pic. 7 (top of page).
